CD517 empowers our community through education, mentorship, access, and outreach.
CD517 was founded by a completely female board of directors, comprised of local educators, artists, activists and designers.
CD517 is housed at the East Lansing Public High School (ELPHS) in the Photography and Communications department.
CD517 is supported by a variety of community participants and grant funding agencies.
